08 May 2006: The new TS-200 and AVI-350/400 systems from HWL offer high-performance active vibration isolation in a compact package. Despite their minimal footprint and height, both can easily support the weight of even the heaviest SEM. The modules fit easily underneath the SEM which simplifies installation, which can usually be performed by the end-user in a matter of minutes. The active TS and AVI systems are much stiffer and have no low frequency resonance compared to passive systems and can thus provide isolation from 1Hz and beyond, making them ideal for those environments where a passive system does not isolate effectively. Thus the TS-200 and AVI-350/400 not only offer the best isolation performance but are easy to use and simple to install, making them the ideal solution for any SEM.
